The most important aspect really is what your marriage is built on. Your values, morals, and beliefs are the foundation for your marriage. If you and your spouse can’t agree here, well, things are going to be shaking in your marriage.
Other things that are important in marriage include being understanding, honesty, and forgiveness. Without these things, your marriage will not survive long. Instead, you will constantly question your marriage foundations so you won't have to worry about a way to save your marriage.
